I mentioned the “Marsh Pride” in my last post, so I thought I would show you a male and a female from the pride.

This image was taken very early one morning, when the light was quite limited. I don’t normally take pictures when the light levels are this low, preferring to watch the wildlife and wait for the sun to get fully above the horizon. However, the interaction between the male and female lion on this occasion “forced” me to pick up my camera and record some of the action.

The female was really not interested in the male lions advances and made that very clear with her actions.
